Craig Schieber

Craig Schieber is an innovator and leader of change in education. His work has focused on building student agency, project-based learning, inquiry learning, and personalizing the educational experience. His current efforts focus on supporting universities to move their programs into a competency-based approach.

Angie Walker

Angie is a strategic leader and a systems-thinker who specializes in online education and competency-based education. Having worked for over fifteen years in CBE at several institutions, she has extensive experience in both CBE pedagogy and in the strategic operations of creating and supporting diverse CBE models. Angie Walker has worked at Western Governors University, Salt Lake Community College, University of Utah, and Southern New Hampshire University. Angie holds a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis on Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.

Joyvina Evans

Works in higher education as a Professor and Leader in Public Health and Healthcare Administration. She served as course developer and subject matter expert for traditional and competency-based education courses. Dr. Evans holds a Ph.D. and Master’s in Public Health, Master’s in Administration, and Bachelor of Business in Management. She  is a member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration and American Public Health Association.

Lisa McIntyre-Hite

Lisa McIntyre-Hite is Vice President of Learning Innovation at Guild Education where she leads strategy and operations to ensure all high-quality learning counts and can stack toward a degree (Credit for X & Stackability). She also leads Guild’s Learning Center of Excellence, focused on improving learning outcomes for working adults. Previously, Lisa served as Senior Advisor at Entangled Solutions and Vice President of Partner Strategy and Innovation at Pathstream. She has worked with 75+ institutions and organizations in the U.S. and abroad to conceptualize, pilot, and scale new learning models. Lisa was Executive Director of Learning Innovation at Laureate Education and the founding Dean of Competency-Based Education at Walden University where she developed Walden’s direct-assessment offering, seeing it from pilot-to-scale. Lisa started her career as a high-school teacher and principal and she continues to support high schools working to design and implement equitable learning ecosystems.

Cali M.K. Morrison

Cali M.K. Morrison, EdD is senior director, learning marketplace at EdAssist by Bright Horizons. Previously she served in several roles at American Public University System where she built competency-based learning opportunities, microcredentials, and the prior learning assessment program. Cali spent over 7 years at the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET) where she conducted analysis and directed projects aimed at the using technology effectively for teaching and learning. She earned an Ed.D. in higher education administration and M.Ed. in student affairs at Montana State University and a graduate certificate in women’s studies and a B.A. in public relations at Western Kentucky University. In 2019 she earned the designation of Certified Professional Coach (CPC).

 

Allison “Alli” C. Bell

Alli Bell is a skilled project manager, strategic planner, policy analyst, and researcher. She is an expert on setting a state and federal policy context conducive to innovative academic delivery models designed to expand educational access and attainment. Over her career, she has worked on a variety of topics, including education finance, student outcomes, innovative educational delivery, adult re-engagement and data systems. Her work focused on providing policymakers and individual school systems with support and expertise to develop programs that increase affordable, accessible and high-quality postsecondary education, particularly for working adults and racial and ethnic minorities. In late 2018, Alli founded Three Arrows Up Consulting, where she is principal. Alli holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and earned her master’s degree in education and her Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Michigan.
