Learning can happen anywhere, at any time. It takes place in classrooms, where people absorb new information. It takes place in the workplace, where they apply and deepen subject matter knowledge. It can happen in communities, where people learn new skills and hone ones like leadership and critical thinking.

Learning should be measured by what you can do: the knowledge, skills, and behaviors that lay the foundation for your success. C-BEN is driving transformation in learning systems, changing not just how we design learning but also how we define it. We convene the network annually at CBExchange to energize everyone invested in a shift to a skills-based system.

CBExchange is the premiere event for changemakers who are committed to driving these transformations across learning, wherever it happens. This annual conference is where passion, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence combine to create a better path forward — because we all deserve an approach to learning that works for everyone.

What makes CBExchange unique is the wide breadth of attendees who come to the intersection of learning and work to create better futures. Attendees include postsecondary faculty and administrators, K-12 teachers and district leaders, company learning and development officers, curriculum development specialists, researchers, industry/employers, and policy leaders from around the globe. We hope you will plan to join us and consider sharing your work!

CBExchange 2024 call for proposals is now open through March 22, 2024.
